VISUAL MARKET – PARCELLED CORRIDOR. Presented in 2013 at Galería Metropolitana as part of the curatorial program Art and Market(s) and nominated for the Altazor Award in the Installation category, this work pays tribute to Santiago’s open-air markets as spaces of memory, popular culture, and collective creativity. Through large printed fabrics, Boris Campos Ernst combines frottage, woodcut, and monotype techniques, integrating scenes, characters, fruits, animals, and everyday objects that reconstruct the visual imagination of Chilean popular culture.
