This exhibition by artists Serena Oliva and Boris Campos Ernst explores different stages of the rehabilitation process through two personal and dialoguing perspectives.
The project began while Campos was undergoing his own rehabilitation process. Aware of the language, rules, emotional states, and objectives behind detoxification and reeducation treatments, Campos and Oliva sought to reveal the complexities of these experiences from within. The exhibition stems from a shared interest in documenting the reality of rehabilitation communities through art, considering that substances have historically functioned as vehicles of transcendence within artistic creation.
The exhibition includes wall installations, a sound installation, a series of prints, and other works.
