CARE' PALO

Sala CDA, Santiago Chile - 2010

The exhibition Care' Palo consists of four large-scale hand-printed fabric works created through the combination and experimentation of monotype, woodcut, and frottage techniques. The work revisits the literal meaning of care’ palo — “wooden face” — represented in the four main figures portrayed, while also evoking the popular meaning associated with shamelessness and bluntness through spontaneous color use and overlapping random layers.

    Dimensions:
    4 fabric pieces 2,00 x 2,00 m.
